Brew at the Zoo-August 21st

Alright, so I've been living in DC for a couple years now and I'm ashamed to admit that I have yet to go to the Zoo. Yes, I am one of the very few that did not jump on the Tai Shan bandwagon and make the trek over to see him chew on bamboo and, well, I'm not sure what else a baby panda does! Guess I should have made the trip. I did however peep over my boss' shoulder as she scoped out the panda cam once or twice. Cute, but I still don't get it. I'm telling you the elephants are where it's at.

I guess for some of us it takes the promise of an ice cold beer to make us venture out to places we've always wanted to go but just needed a little extra nudge. Lucky for us FONZ ( Friends of the National Zoo) understands the draw of good food and a frosty brew.

Join FONZ for a fun filled night of restaurant tastings, animal demonstrations, and a live band performance to benefit the National Zoo. No doubt a worthy cause. Plus, this is a great opportunity to network with other young professionals and to see one of the coolest venues in DC in action!
