Thanks to Ski Johnson and Wide-A-Wake PR, I attended last Sunday's performance of Septime Webre's The Nutcracker presented by the Washington Ballet. I was absolutely blown away! The sets were whimsical and the costumes were exquisit. I've seen the original German Nutcracker Ballet and was presently surprised at just how upbeat and entertaining Webre's remake is. There's still time to see this new take on an old classic that is quickly becoming a district tradition!
