Put on your dancing shoes and head over to the Decatur House courtyard as they close out their summer long series highlighting the music of local ensembles. Burnett Thompson and the New Columbia Septet will be wrapping things up with their unique blend of Swing and Latin Dance music.
I had the pleasure of attending an event at the Decatur House earlier this summer and I had a blast! It really is a wonderful venue, at a great location. Stepping into the courtyard you leave the city behind. Unlike so many of the newer event spaces, the building is so full of character and the feeling that wonderful things have happened there. They also served up some very delicious and refreshing summer inspired specialty drinks.
There will be opportunities for tours during this event! That’s reason enough to drop by.
