I’m an avid reader of the Going Out Gurus blog on Washingtonpost.com. Even when I don’t have time to scour their site, I’ll take a quick look at the Gurus’ Picks for the skinny on what’s happening for the weekend. So, imagine my delight when I found out that Going Out Gurus have launched a new site with a fresh look and new features at GoingOutGuide.com. The site is easier to navigate and designed to make searching faster so you’re out the door in no time. Aimed at bringing you the best in nightlife, restaurants, movies and the arts in and around DC, the site allows you to create your own list of your favorite things to do and share it with friends. You can even browse the lists of local celebrity users like Chef Michael Richards, K Street Kate, and the Nationals’ Ryan Zimmerman.
