The owners of the Arlington Cinema 'N' Drafthouse are expanding their award winning and acclaimed movie and entertainment concept to a 32,000 sq foot theater complex located at Westfields Wheaton complex in Wheaton, Maryland - just north of downtown Silver Spring. The centrally located new 6-Theater entertainment complex, is close to just about everywhere and is easily accessible with plenty of parking as well as being walking distance from Wheaton Metro on the Redline.
I've heard really great things about the one in Arlington and I'm excited that this one is so close by! Featuring food, drinks, table side service, first run movies, live entertainment, and REDSKINS football this place sounds like a really fun night out. I can't tell you how many times I've sat in a movie thinking, " I could really use a cocktail or a steak right now!". Could this place be the answer to my prayers?
They're open for business on Friday with their first show at 4:30pm. if you're planning on stopping by this weekend, buy your tickets in advance. They'll only be opening up 4 of their 6 theaters and with most new locations, you'll probably have to bear with them while they work out the opening kinks.
