The 15 Annual Taste if Georgetown this Saturday-Oct. 11th!!!!

The annual Taste of Georgetown showcases the spectacular cuisine of thirty of Washington, D.C.’s finest restaurants, highlighting Georgetown’s culinary personalities and featuring nearly sixty delectable dishes to sample, as well as wine pairings and the jazz talents of Blues Alley.As the fifteenth annual celebration of food, wine, and music, the Taste of Georgetown has become the premier food and wine festival of D.C.


Washington City Paper is proudly sponsoring the event! Be sure to visit the City Paper booth onsite at the festival. City Paper will be giving away two complimentary VIP passes that serve as all-access tickets to the tastings. With these passes, winners can sample cuisine from any and all of the restaurants participating in the festival.
In addition to unlimited tastings, the winners will also receive a Taste of Georgetown T-shirt and a Wine Glass, and get the chance to meet the guest celebrity judges. For a chance to win the VIP passes, head to washingtoncitypaper.com and look in the “Free Stuff” section under CP Events.

All proceeds from the Taste of Georgetown will go benefit GMC’s homeless assistance programs. The Festival will occur on Saturday, October 11th from 11am to 4pm. Tasting tickets will be sold at a cost of $5 each or $20 for five, and access to the wine tasting is $10 per person. I don't know about you, but they had me at HELLO! I'm already on the hunt for some elastic waist pants to wear and still look cute while I'm digging in to those "60 delectable dishes". So, put your diet on hold for the weekend and head on over to the Taste of Georgetown. After all, IT'S FOR A GOOD CAUSE!
