The mood was grown and very sexy at the Ladies Of Vision Entertainment’s Artistic Seduction event at Lounge 201 this Saturday. Hosted by Komplex, a spoken word poet, the night featured an array of sensual performers including spoken word, erotic literature, and body painting. If you blush easily, this was not the event for you.
This night was definitely for those willing to embrace their inner sex-kitten. Artists included; Erotic Author Jessica Tilles, Spoken Word Artists Beny Blaq and Secrete Emotions, as well as Body Artist Kwanna. Body Art Model Reci demanded attention as she mingled with the crowd covered in fresh gold body paint and little else. Reci also performed a poem entitled “My Body”.
From the success of this event, I’m looking forward to seeing more from Ladies of Vision Entertainment (LOVE).
As for the venue…
This was my first time at Lounge 201. Located a few blocks from Union Station, the space caters to those looking for a laid back atmosphere for their private event. The Lounge is in remarkably good shape for having been open for over 6 years. I loved the oversized bar in the main room and the comfy lounge furniture in the back. The overall look is modern and clean with just a little bit of coffee house chic.
