Experience the art beyond the apron
You’re invited to join Starbucks for a gala event featuring Visual Art and Spoken Word. Starbucks Avant-Grande will feature original visual artwork in a variety of mediums as well as spoken word performances by aspiring artists, all of whom are Washington, D.C. and New York City Starbucks baristas.This event sounds like lots of fun and the House of Sweden is a fantastic venue! I coordinated an event there about a year or so ago soon after they opened. Come to think of it, I've always wondered what genius lies within my local barista. Well, maybe not, but I certainly am now!
Guests will enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres and have the opportunity to view and purchase the exhibited artwork.
